Digital Multi-Purpose Range Complex - Fort Hood, Texas
This project consisted of two separate ranges (Clabber Creek and Jack Mountain) totaling 8 firing trails with concrete turn pads, 39 turret down defilade positions, 210 stationary infantry target emplacements, 8 armor moving target emplacements and 140 stationary armor target emplacement. Other facilities included staging and parking areas, helipad, limit markers, electrical distribution, fiber optic communications, copper phone lines, storm drainage, low water crossings, service roads and berms. Emerson served as the Prime Contractor and performed concrete work, steel erection, and rough carpentry.
